Group Therapy

Approach

Approach is a supportive, evidence-based group designed to help you face and challenge foods that bring up fear, anxiety, guilt, or avoidance. Using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy, we create a safe space to gradually introduce and experience these foods without engaging in avoidance or compensatory behaviors.

This group may be a good fit if you:

  • Struggle with restrictive eating

  • Have developed food aversions

  • Fear that you’ll binge on certain foods

  • Have difficulty tolerating distress from fullness

Together, we’ll challenge negative thoughts, soften self-criticism, and begin to add compassion to your food experiences—one brave step at a time.

Peace of Cake is group therapy designed to help you

  • Stop the binge/restrict cycle

  • Move in ways that feel joyful

Guided by the 10 principles of Intuitive Eating, this group offers education, reflection, and community as you learn to tune into hunger, honor fullness, and make peace with food—without guilt or restriction.
