Respect Your Body
Is your respect for your body conditional? Sometimes we tell ourselves that we will take care of our bodies when we look the way we want to. There’s so much unnecessary fear and denial in accepting our bodies just as they are, especially when weight gain hits. Don’t mistake acceptance with giving up. You’re not letting yourself go if you accept your body. Acceptance is the first step in intuitive eating and the goal isn’t weight loss. Meet yourself and your body where you’re at. Accept that things are the way they are without judgments. Wear comfy clothes. Rest. Have fun. Take time to breathe.
